early 1950's when I was a young teenager, growing up in the then very sparsely
populated coastal village of
Kihei, Maui. A very rural setting of about 100 families. It was in
this setting that the flavor of Teri-Licious®
was implanted in my taste buds. Teri-Licious®
is truly a delectable flavor that not only enhances food flavors, but in

Marinade BBQ sauce is a tangy sauce that
Dr. Charles Medeiros developed in the early 1950's during college days
in the San Francisco Bay Area as a result of being home-sick for the Hawaiian
Islands and the yearning for its unique foods and food flavors that he was
missing.
Island foods, restaurants, etc. were unavailable at that time not only in the
San Francisco Bay area, but almost everywhere. As a result, he had to "concoct"
the flavors and recipes to satisfy his palate. Favorable comments from family
and friends along with repeated requests and orders for his
Maui-Licious®
Marinade BBQ sauce was the encouragement that caused things to happen.
With the dawning of the millennium and approximately 40 years after his
initial efforts, Maui-Licious® Marinade BBQ sauce was a reality.
Like good wine, this tangy sauce was making cooks and chefs look good and win
the praises of their families, friends, clients, and customers.
Maui-Licious® Marinade BBQ sauce is a multi-purpose product limited only to
the ingenuity and creativity of the cook or chef.

Our production of
Maui-Licious®
Marinade BBQ sauce is once a year. We try to have it ready around Memorial
Day. This year we ran into some production delays.
However, we should be able restock in about three weeks.

Maui-Licious®
Marinade BBQ sauce was created by Dr. Charles Medeiros,
a third generation native of early Portuguese immigrants to Maui, Hawaii (then
the Kingdom of Hawaii) from Azorean Islands (the Island of San Miguel) loved his
mother's kitchen, a place filled with all the aromas of her exquisite recipes
and cooking. Charles Medeiros,
the youngster, loved to try his hand at cooking given the opportunity. His
Swedish wife, Ingrid, often remarks, "What is that new concoction you're
preparing?" "Oh, just another flavorful dish for family and friends",
I reply.
